Congratulations to Pete Wills and his Foxes which never threw in the towel despite Mark Bolar pushing
him to the end of the season. With the lead changing hands almost every week at one point, its no
surprise that the final winning margin was just 22 points. At the bottom, it's disappointment for Dave
Barlow as he takes away the wooden spoon and the shame
of not having a clue about the club he
plays for!
There was a slight scare at Fantasy League HQ when Shorty finished pumping in all the data and
found himself top of the pile! Thankfully he had missed a fourth digit on Kalvin's final score and
everything was put right in the end!
Trophies and spoons will be handed out at the prize giving evening so be there to see possibly the
shiniest trophy you've ever seen! Also for all of you that care, the answer to the tie break question
"how many runs in total will the 1st XI score in the 2006 season?" is....IS....3290. There were two
people closest to the answer. Both Ben Reid and Dave Hobbs guessed 3250. No prizes for you, just
the satisfaction of being right! A massive thank you for all those that took part. It's been emotional to say the least and despite the
odd administrative error / COCK UP, I hope you've had fun. Fantasy League is set to come back next
year, bigger and better than ever before. Until then have a great winter.
