Right Hand Bat / Barrack Umpires |
Best Moment at Isham: Watching Oldie (Stephen Oldfield), on debut and only possibly registered, hit the son of former West Indian test player Alvin Kalicharan back over his head for four, turning to walk back to the pavilion immediately on contact and not bothering to watch it race to the boundary, to win the midlands U15 final in 1989, to cries from John Bonura of “sign him up”!!!!!! |
Worst Moment at Isham: Two first ball ducks in a day at the national finals of the same U15 competition has to take some beating. The first, an LBW decision to a leftie, which may have something to do with my subsequent keen interest in umpiring. |
