Isham 2nd XI vs Gretton CC - 5th May 2007
It was an unhappy first home game for the 2nd XI with 5 Isham batsmen scoring 0! Although Gretton’s Darren Baines will remember the game with much fondness, taking 8 wickets for just 26 runs! Two positives could be taken from the match - Ian Kelland continued his fine return to the Isham set up scoring 65. And skipper Pete Wills did his bit with the ball, taking 5 wickets and made the game much closer than it should have been.
Gretton, chasing 139 started their innings brightly, but a flurry of wickets near the end saw the away side scramble over the line – winning by two wickets. |
