Joining Isham Cricket Club
Isham CC are always looking to welcome new members to the club, on both the playing and social side.
The club is focused on providing a fun and social environment for both youth and adult members while playing competive cricket at varying standards. We field three sides on Saturdays in the Northamptonshire County League. The 1st XI play in Div 1, the 2nd XI in Div 6 and the Zingari (3rd XI) play in Div 14. This allows us to provide cricket for players of all standards and ages. We also have a Sunday XI who play in the Rutland League Div 4 where the focus is on developing our youth players and giving them experience in adult cricket.
The social side of Isham Cricket Club is very important to us and we actively seek social members. Our pavilion has fantastic facilities with the 'Hardy Bar' & 'Scopes Lounge' holding regular functions throughout the year. We have an annual Summer Ball that regularly has 250 guests. The ground sits in picturesque surroundings overlooking rolling countryside with spectacular views from the pavilion, making it an idylic play to play and watch the game.
We have a strong youth structure within the club and run weekly outdoor training sessions during the cricket season and indoor training in the winter. Our age groups are- U9, U13, U15 & U15, all fielding sides in the Higham Youth League. We have a strong focus on developing our youth players, ensuring they enjoy their cricket in a fun and stable environment.
We welcome players of all ages and abilities and can provide varying standards of cricket from the high standard of 1st XI cricket in Division 1 of the NCL to the more relaxed games in Division 14. We hold regular winter training sessions which we are more than happy to see new faces attend both young and old.
